Welcome to MECSD
In line with Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 as laid out by His Highness
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makhtoum, UAE Vice President and Prime
Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and
Pacific Control Systems LLC (PCS) have entered into an understanding
to establish jointly the “Middle East Centre for Sustainable
Development (MECSD)”.
This
establishment will facilitate the roll out of Certified Green
Buildings to developers in Dubai World and the Middle East, provide
service and systems that will establish guidelines for all
development projects, assist them to achieve LEED Certification,
under USGBC/EGBC Guidelines and/or certification, established under
the guide lines of MECSD, thus enabling sustainable development in
the whole Middle East region.
